You connect your platforms — Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft — and UniPixel starts firing events to them. If you’re running WooCommerce, the key ecommerce events (product views, add to cart, checkout, purchase) are tracked automatically with full order and product data.
If you want to track other things — a button click, a form submission, a popup interaction — you set those up as custom events through UniPixel’s interface. No code. No GTM.
Every event can be sent client-side (from the browser), server-side (from your server), or both. You choose. Deduplication is handled automatically so platforms don’t double-count.
Consent is checked before anything fires. If the visitor hasn’t consented, nothing is sent. Built-in, not bolted on.
No, it sends data to Google Analytics (an other platforms). These platforms use the data to create reporting tools and to tailer things like ads to your customers.
UniPixel is a delivery mechanism. It gets your event data to the platforms that need it — so those platforms can measure results, attribute conversions, and optimise your campaigns. It’s the pipe, not the dashboard.
That said, if you connect GA4 through UniPixel, your Google Analytics data gets richer because more events are reaching it more reliably.

UniPixel depends on API credentials from the platforms you want to send data to. For Meta, that’s a Pixel ID and an access token. For Google, it’s a Measurement ID and API secret. For TikTok, it’s a Pixel ID and access token.
Without those credentials, server-side tracking can’t fire — the platform needs to know it’s you.
This is a platform requirement, not a UniPixel limitation. Every server-side solution needs these credentials. The difference is UniPixel handles everything else once you provide them.
Ideally, server-side would just work without this step. But the platforms require authentication — and getting those credentials is a one-time setup. Once they’re in, it’s done.
